I am interested in the use of organ on chip technologies to help model bone and cell interactions with hard tissue biomaterials. I am currently a part time PhD candidate at QMUL investigating real time kinetics of bioactive glasses under salivary flow conditions using the technique of Quartz Crystal Microbalance. I am also a a Senior Research Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare investigating different imaging modalities, from EM to xct, to understand the in vitro efficacy of oral care products for dental hard tissues.
