We are particularly interested in 3D modelling of breast cancer progression using primary patient samples from the Breast Cancer Now Cell Bank at Barts. We also use organotypic approaches to investigate tumour-stromal crosstalk in a variety of cancers, with a particular focus on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. We are interested in how this crosstalk both drives cancer development but also impacts on drug resistance.
