I am beginning a research Fellowship in August which aims to identify hydrolytic enzymes involved in colorectal cancer development. I will apply chemical tools to in vitro gut culture models including Gut-on-a-chip. I will be hosted in the laboratory of Prof Gary Frost who has a Gut-on-a-chip system established. Being part of this network will enable me to make collaborations, network at events such as yearly meeting and provide a supportive environment (e.g. training opportunities) to enable me to succeed in this rapidly growing research area. I have a very interactive personality, enjoy discussing my research and sharing knowledge.
