I am working on a placement where I am studying the characteristics and growth conditions for Lactobacillus crispatus bacteria. Which later will be placed together with vaginal cells to observe the interaction between them. This organ-on-a-chip will help us further explore the conditions that can cause an interruption in the interaction. Therefore, causing the condition called bacterial vaginosis.
