My research spans the biological and physical sciences, focussing in biomaterials for tissue engineering and drug delivery applications. There is huge scope in the combination of these disciplines in the study of 3D tissues in a biomimetic, microfluidic environment and, by joining the Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network, I hope to have the opportunity to share my multidisciplinary expertise and gain new knowledge to develop new avenues in drug delivery using Organ-on-a-Chip approaches.
