Research Interests

Microfluidics, Cancer models, Dementia models, In vitro assays

My lab has developed a variety of microfluidic technologies to model in vitro brain disease, tumour response to treatment and cell-nanomaterial interactions, working both with international academic partners and the pharmaceutical industry. I am currently in the process of spinning out one of these technologies for anticancer drug testing. I am interested in exchange expertise between labs with complementary expertise and develop new organ-on-a-chip models with partners in the field of cancer and cardiovascular research.
