The Medicines Discovery Catapult (MDC) is a not-for-profit research company established by Innovate UK to support UK drug discovery companies through making available new tools and technologies alongside industrial expertise. MDC is committed to making predictive cell models more readily available to UK companies. More predictive, humanised, relevant models will reinvigorate the delivery of medicines demanded by patients especially exploiting OOAC technology. The MDC is keen to form collaborative R&D partnerships with the OOAC network to develop cell models in connected systems and to develop next generation detection technologies for the real time and label free assessment of OOAC biology.
