The networking opportunities will enable cross fertilisation of research ideas and an exchange of core principles relating to 3D tissue engineering culture models. This knowledge transfer will enable our own group to build upon the world-leading research already done within this institution by facilitating potential new applications for our research, but allow other research groups within the region to benefit from our own experience within the field. In addition the presence of industrial partners who are keen to develop the outstanding research already done within the UK is highly appealing
