gut-on-a-chip, inflammatory bowel disease, tissue-on-a-chip, blood-brain-barrier-on-chip, gut-brain axis
Current research looks at the use of organ on a chip to model the gut-brain axis. I am interested in the use of organ-on-a-chip as an alternative to existing models that are currently used. I am also interested in the potential of organ on a chip within the areas of personalised medicine and reduced animal testing.
