Recreating cellular interactions in the lung using human bronchial epithelial cells and fibroblasts from control and disease patients - asthma, COPD, IPF patients. Further adding in immune cells elevated in these pulmonary conditions to understand how aberrant epithelial gene expression may drive disease.
