Research Interests

Organ-on-a-chip, microphysiological systems, liver, lung, alternatives to animal testing, immune cells

Using immunocompetent human organ models for drug testing/screening to increase drug safety, to reduce time and costs in drug development and to reduce animal experimentation (e.g. infection models). We are also interested in model development/model adaption and in cooperation with other industry partners .
