Research Interests
Epithelia, Imaging, Label-free, Drug delivery, Hydrodynamics, Barrier function
My lab builds microdevices to study epithelial barrier function, fluid transport and drug delivery. We have proprietary nanomaterials, surface functionalisation, and imaging methods adapted to real-time extraction of molecular transport from living systems.
Collaboration Interests
Users of microfluidics interested in porous microchambers for dynamic, real-time measurements of transport and barrier tissue phenomena.
I am happy for individuals outside my research group (particularly early career researchers) to present at one of my (online) group meetings – please contact me if you are interested.
I would like to present at group meetings organised by individual group leads – please contact me if you have an opportunity.
