Research Interests

renal physiology, electrolyte homeostasis, osmoregulation, monogenic syndromes of the kidney, microscopy, pharmacology

Interested in using renal epithelial cells (both primary and immortalised) derived from different mammalian kidneys (human, mouse, rat, etc) to grow segment specific tubules to explore renal physiology/pathophysiology using a mixture of microscopy, pharmacology, genetic modification and classical renal microperfusion techniques adapted to kidney-on-a-chip setups.
