My research group is interested in the design of biomaterials and their microfabrication for the development of advanced in vitro cell based assays. We developed micropatterning platforms allowing the regulation of cell shape and spreading, but also the assembly of cell clusters and the formation of vascular networks. These tools allow the design of more complex micro-tissues mimicking the structure and some of the functions of tissues. I am looking for biologists and industrial partners interested in the development of these tools and their use in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industry.
