Research Interests

Neurodegenerative disease, Cell Culture - Aggregates, 3D Bioprinting, Drug delivery models, Hydrogels, Regenerative medicine

My aim would be to produce a human-derived drug delivery model for neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's Disease. A humanised and replicable model would be more appropriate for such diseases compared to animal models. I would hope to develop an accurate tissue and environment that can be tested on a mass scale through developing an organ-on-a chip brain and BBB model.
