Passionate about improving preclinical models for drug screening and research and particularly interested in Organ-on-a-Chip, organoids, tissue slices and tissue-engineering. Currently a second-year PhD student at the Institute of Hepatology in London where I aim to set up a personalised human immunocompetent model of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) to study cancer immunotherapeutic strategies and personalised therapy response. I work with the OOC platform, LiverChip, from CN Bio in combination and precision-cut tissue slices using resected liver tissue and HCC tumours. If you are working on developing an immunocompetent platform for cancer then I would love to get into contact with you!
