My interest in organ on a chip stems form my interest in developing novel, in vitro techniques to study disease initiation and progression. Specifically, I am interested in developing 3D OOC approaches to study the initiation of breast cancer and the role of different risk factors in the development of the disease. I am also interested in OOC platforms to study ovarian cancer, placental function and vaginosis.
