My lab develops biomaterials to explore how mechanosensing and physical cues direct stem cell fate, particularly for tissue engineering. We design, synthesise and test highly defined hydrogel networks that can act as synthetic ECM mimetics to explore fundamental questions in stem cell biology and enable us to create tissue engineering-based therapies. We would like to expand our work by combining our expertise with organ-on-a-chip technologies.
