I'm interested in how nanomedicines extravasate from blood vessels and diffuse through tumours, with a focus win photothermal cancer therapy. Potentially a good way to study this is by using microfluidics to emulate the tumour environment. A large part of my work is using modelling to predict how results that can be tested in the laboratory.
