Research Interests
Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Gut, Human biopsy, diagnostic, nucleic acid based detection
The University of Hull Biological Microfluidics Research Group has interests in numerous tissue/organ on-chip systems, including a human biopsy based gut chip model. Linking a dual flow gut chip device with other tissue-on-chip devices permits integration of multiple different systems towards a "human-on-chip" approach ro providing models of health and disease.
