Organ-on-a-Chip will require sophisticated modification of "chip" surfaces to mimic native biological environments to realise organ-like functionality. I look forward to applying my expertise in bioinspired material interfaces which encompasses the development of novel peptide mimics and nanostructures, as well as surface modification and bioconjugation techniques, to realise this goal.
