My interest in organ-on-a-chip includes creating models for breast cancer, liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), healthy liver, and colorectal cancer at different disease states such as normal, inflamed, cirrhotic, metaplastic. In these disease state-specific chips, my goal is to conduct chemotherapy tests, predict treatment response, assess non-targeted drug toxicity, and investigate cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions spatiotemporally.
I would like to present at group meetings organised by individual group leads – please contact me if you have an opportunity.
