I developed a pulmonary artery-on-a-chip as part of a BHF centre of research excellence pilot project http://www.imperial.ac.uk/bhf-research-excellence/pilot-projects/ that has subsequently been awarded PhD funding - also from the BHF. Actively seeking to establish academic, clinical and industrial collaborations with others developing organ-on-a-chip models to bring organ-on-a-chip technology into the clinic.
