What are organ-on-chips and why are they important in the future of medicine?
Network ECR advisor Matthew Hockley interviews  Martin Knight, Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network Co-Director and Professor of Mechanobiology at Queen Mary University of London, to find the answers.

Flavio Bonanini, Haley Ehlers, and Arya Lekshmi Nair are Early Stage Researchers, under Marie Sklodowska-Curie Grants, at MIMETAS BV in Leiden, Netherlands. All are working to develop Organ-on-a-Chip models for the liver, artery, and blood-brain barrier respectively. This video shows how nutrients make their way through the body on the way to the brain and how different Organ-on-a-Chip models can help study different organ functions.
