In September 2018, we celebrated the launch of the UK Organ-on-a-chip Technologies Network with a launch event held at Queen Mary University of London and a dedicated organ-chip session and keynote lecture at the BioMedEng18 Conference presented by Dr Geraldine Hamilton from Emulate Bio. Read more

Learning & Collaboration Event

In April 2019, the Network organised a one day event for one hundred academics and industrialists working in the field of organ-on-a-chip technology. The day included presentations on the latest Organ on a Chip research and technologies and networking sessions to build multidisciplinary collaboration. Read more

Biomed Eng Session

Organ-on-a-chip Network Session at BioMedEng Conference

The Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network ran a one day organ-on-a-chip session at the BioMedEng19 conference in September 2019. The event included a keynote on cancer models from Prof Fran Balkwill of Queen Mary University of London and presentations from the first five pump priming projects funded by the Network. Read more

Sandpit 2020

Funding sandpit event

This interactive funding sandpit event in October 2020, provided a great opportunity for 32 senior academics and industrialists from across the UK to work together – developing major grants proposals on vital OOAC research. Read more.

TTL network event 2021

Technology Touching Life Networks e-Event

The five UKRI funded TTL networks – 3DBioNet, ImagingBioPro, Integrated Biological Imaging, Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies and PhenomUK - jointly organised a virtual network event in September 2021to showcase achievements made over the past three years and discuss future directions for the networks.
